What is footfall, and how do I set it up?

Footfall represents the number of people that entered your store. It is an important indicator of how successful your company’s strategies are at drawing the attention of prospective customers.

Footfall counter will be triggered when the blue circle (the customer) passes the line between the store and the outside area

To set up this AI engine, you have to define a line on your camera stream to determine the inside and outside of your store. Footfall will accumulate as visitors pass the defined line.

There is no limit to how many footfall lines you can draw in the stream snapshot, so you can draw multiple lines if you have more than one entrance captured in the camera.

You can clear your drawing if you draw something wrong or just undo last if you just want to clear out the last line you draw.
