Location is the entire physical space that you wish to collect the data from, e.g. a shop, mall, restaurant, event space etc.
Creating a location is normally the first thing you do in Cyclops to start the amazing journey. It is a simple process with only 4 steps as below.
Before you create a location, we advise you to have the following things ready first.
1. Location information including name, floor plan and opening hours
2. The touchpoint areas(s) you wish Cyclops to analyse
3. The RTSP urls of the cameras that cover the touchpoint(s)
4. The AI engines you wish to apply to the touchpoint(s)
Only admins and integrators can create a location. Learn more about user roles here.
Step 1: Go to the Locations tab and click Add Locations.

Step 2: Enter Location Information
Step 3: Choose the location access.
Step 4: Click [Upload Floorplan]
Step 5: Upload the floorplan file by drag and drop or select file
We only support files in .jpg, .jpeg and .png format up to 10MB.
Step 6: Click [Confirm]
Congratulations! You have successfully set up a location on Cyclops
For locations with more than one floor, you should click the Add Floor button and upload another floor plan.
